Doesn't work with Boss BR 600 posted on 2008-08-02
Sadly card doesn't seem to work with Boss BR 600 recorder. Brings up "unsupported" message.

Survived a swim! posted on 2008-07-13
I've always used Kingston memory products, and I now am very glad that this is the case.

My oldest Kingston 1GB CF card - purchased in June 2005 and used pretty much constantly since then - was in my digital camera when the camera fell into a pool at Toronto Zoo! To make matters seemingly worse, there was only space for 12 photos left on the card.

To my amazement, after leaving the card 24 hours to ensure that it had dried out, ALL of the data on the card could be retrieved with no read errors. A fantastic demonstration of how well made these cards are, despite being "cheap".

If you're after a faster card, Kingston do both 50x and 100x versions.

Boss 8 Track Recorder posted on 2008-04-28
brilliant value for money, works well with my Boss BR 900 CD Digital 8 track recorder.
the reccomended card for my recorder is very expensive, so for £7.00 I thought i would give it a go, and it works fine, as a musician i expect the card to work well and not destroy my music by creating errors.

I have had a "drive Busy" error with this card on 2 occassions since i bought it, that has been because i was trying to mix down to many tracks and it has a slower Read/write speed than the reccomended card, i simply rebooted and started the proccess over and the second time my music mixed down fine, no data was lost on either occassions, i would reccomend this card to anyone with a similar 8 track to mine, as i know its abit of a gamble wether these cheaper cards will work or not with digital music recorders.

corrupted posted on 2006-10-25
Had the card 18 months and it is now corrupted an neither my Mac nor my D70 can read the images that are on the card and which I was able to view after taking them. NOT Impressed.

Works with Fostex MR-8 posted on 2006-02-14
Thanks to the reviewer below for comments re Fostex MR-8 - the card also works fine in my MR-8. Can't speak for relative performance as there appears to be very few cards available ex-Japan that actually work in this machine!
