Great value + performance posted on 2006-12-29
I've used two of these 1gb cards now for about a year - i've taken over 10'000 photos and not once have i had a single problem with either of my cards. They're fantastic little things, nice and fast, and i can trust em with anything i shoot.

Good product and excellent after sales posted on 2006-01-13
This card recently developed a fault after seven months of hard service in my Dynax 7D.

Within the space of 5 days I contacted the distributor, had returned the card which they checked out and had a replacement card delivered.

Until this point the card had performed very well indeed, with good write speed and stable data storage.

5* rating due to combination of good product and excellent after sales service.

Good for the price posted on 2005-09-26
Build quality and reliability are good - used without problem for some time now in Konica Minolta A200. Recently purchase an 80x card by a different manufacturer to benefit from increased speed

The card is good value but if you can afford the extra cost and your camera can utilise the additional speed of the card then consider a faster card - especially if you're using RAW files.

Bytestor 1gb Canon cameras posted on 2005-08-01
I bought this card for an old Canon s40 over a year ago, and was pleased to see the 999 picture count appear. It was replacing a 256mb card, and is much faster than that was.

Due to the large capacity, I certainly never used to fill the card since I upload as I go using a card reader. However, a few months ago I bought a Canon S20 and the capacity is reduced accordingly to roughly 200 maximum resolution (8 million pixels) JPEG files on that. That is still enough for a day's shooting (or weeks/months in most settings!).

I don't use RAW format because of the slow processing times of those files on my PC, so I don't know the capacity or performance for that.

So far I have found the card faultless and plenty fast enough. I generally do not notice the delay in writing to the card, although after taking a run of 10 shots at 5 photos a second, the red light (of the writer) was still flashing when I took the camera from my eye. It nevertheless coped without a sweat.

I noted today that the cards are now selling for just £44 so I am buying another one to take on honeymoon, just in case it is needed!

Improves performance on the D70 posted on 2005-07-27
I have and love my Nikon D70 and wanted a faster writing card to save lock outs while the camera writes. Got this card and have not had a write lock out even at large file sizes. I have used it for all types of photography and can't fault it. I used it for some moter sport with the camera on continuous shooting and it did the job flawlessly. Spend the extra few pounds and get a fast write card if you shoot sport and at high file sizes, you won't be dissapointed - this card is a good buy.
