When using this card to transfer photos in the inbuilt card reader on my pc it continually crashes the program. I had to connect the camera via USB lead to retrieve the pics. Don't waste your money on this card look elsewhere.

I purchased one of these cards at the same time as my Canon IXUS 700 camera back in August 2005, and have used both together with no problems since then.
It is fast enough to record 640x480 video clips at 30fps (the best the camera can do), and transferring 1Gb of files to the PC (via USB 2) takes about 2 minutes.

This card worked for my first 300 or so photos but then decided to give up the ghost. It became incredibly unreliable and only luck would dictate whether the camera would read it. A multitude of PC's and multiple card readers later, the photos were still locked on there. Then a friend's laptop internal reader could see it and everything was hastily copied before carefully formatting the card.

It still wouldn't be read either by my Canon Ixus 50 or any of the card readers I had access to except for this one laptop and, as it seems, my PDA where it now lives looking after non-crucial information which is safely backed up daily.

Wouldn't recommend it on my experience, especially with the low prices of SD cards these days.

I, too, purchased this card along with my new digital camera wanting to believe the good reviews that it was given on the site. I was especially encouraged by the professional photographer. Unfortunately, i was extremely disappointed. It lasted less than 10 minutes, and about 15 shots into my camera before the whole thing seized up and became unreadable. Fortunately, at this point, I had not departed for my holidays. Unfortunately, I ended up buying a brand that I knew from the high street and paying full whack for it. Don't waste your time or money with one of these, go for one of the premium brand cards from the Amazon site.

I bought this memory card wanting to believe the better reviews it got as opposed to the many 1 star ratings it also has. It is however totally rubbish. The card locked making it unreadable to my camera and other card readers after taking 60 snaps. Thankfully it was on the first day of my holiday and I could buy a proper memory card from a camera shop, and not lose two weeks of pictures, if it had gone on the last day I'd have been livid.

I cannot believe the manufacturers dsescription quoted above, and from reading more reviews on here I am not alone. The card isn't even that high speed. Seriously don't be caught out like me and many others on this site. The memory is bad. Low grade. If you don't want a waste of time and money avoid.
