Bluetech sell fakes!!!!!!! posted on 2008-04-03
These thieves "Bluetech Boutique" are openly selling fake "Sony Pro Duo Memory Sticks" on Amazon. I bought one for my Sony camera and after 9 months it started to give read-write errors. But Bluetech have failed to respond to complaints and Amazon said they could not do anything as it was after the 90 days!!!!!! - What kind of outfit are Amazon running - it is now in the hands of Trading Standards. An absolute disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!
 
This card is not compatible with ReadyBoost posted on 2008-01-08
The are different versions/models of this card with varing in speeds. The model sold here is only £17(ish) because its slow - too slow for Vista ReadyBoost. You'll have to spend nearer £45 for an actual high version of this card. Unfortunately there is no way of knowing which card you have as none have unqiue identifying features.

I regret having bought this card and would urge others to buy from a local shop rather than from this resller.

Have bought 3 cards fom marketplace sellers and was happy until one split after 3 months and the camera refused to "see" it. I now believe after Googling "fake memory stick" that the cheap end of the market is awash with fakes. Some work ok (2 of mine), some are too thick to fit in the adaptor or PSP easily (my split one)and some give half capacity. Do you homework (google) and make an informed choice about where to buy.

I've ordered this product from 2 different suppliers now, and each time I believe I have received a faulty counterfeit product. The first one had a similar issue to that of an earlier review, in that it only took in memory up to 1gb, and then was very difficult to take the data off the card. I'm not quite sure what to do as there appears to be alot of evidence that alot of suppliers are providing fakes in the hope that the fakes will work, when in fact alot of them are faulty.
