Customer Reviews for ByteStor 2GB SD High Speed 80X ( Secure Digital ) Card

No problems with my Samsung camera, that only takes 1gb apparently. It uses industrial standard techniques, therefore it works with most cameras. What else is there to say? Buy it now, you won't regret it.

reads as 2gb but saves just over 1gb posted on 2007-09-17
I was impressed with the offered deal and brought two of these. I use it with my ipaq to save maps, music and videos mostly so i use a lot of memory. Problem is that when i try to save 2 gig the most i can copy is just over 1 gig on each. I didn't realise how little it was until i checked the property of each card. Unfortunately it took so long before i checked i can't send it back.

But it was a fair deal for a 1 gig card at the time so not that fussed. Now i always check how much each card actually holds when i buy. Sandisk are more reliable.

Very Good Deal! (updated) posted on 2007-08-18
Bought this to use with a Canon Ixus 950is. Fast and smooth performance at a decent price and stocked by Amazon so no unexpected postal charges. No problems with it at all, would recommend.

After extended use I now find that this card has a problem keeping up with the fast frame-rate feature on the Canon. This is used for catching quick movement such as pets playing, or cars racing. The card stutters and misses portions of the action even though it is rated at x80 speed which I thought would be sufficient. I will call the suppliers but if this is not an isolated case I will be investing in a better card from Sandisk. Be prepared if this type of video is important to you. It has also raised in price by £6 since I bought.

Great SD card posted on 2007-01-10
I bought this for my HP PhotoSmart M627 7.4 Mp camera. The videos work fine, they are smooth with no glitches. Additionally, lots of pictures can be stored on this capacious chip - more than 700 of the best quality 7 megapixel snaps, and more than 50min of video (640x480x22fps). Read/write speed is great, and there is little or no wait between pictures as the camera writes to the card.
The only slight drawback is the price - I think it should be a little cheaper, but still worth the buy.

Excellent Value, FlashUK Good Co. to Deal With posted on 2006-09-06
I now have 2 of these cards, bought one for my pocket pc, which works just fine, so bought one for my digital camera too. The second one developed a fault, and it was absolutely no hassle to get an exchange card from Flash UK.
