Customer Reviews for Uniross 4 x AAA Hybrio Batteries 800mAh
very good for infrequently used devices and else posted on 2008-07-30
I have had these AAA rechargeable batteries in use for a while now in a digital voice recorder, which I use about once a week, and I am very satisfied with them. With my infrequent use ordinary rechargeable batteries were quite unreliable, needing a lot of recharges respectively, without getting much recording time out of them and would sometimes run out in the middle of a recording. These hold their charge amazingly well - I would compare them to high quality ordinary batteries for real life capacity.
Highly recommended for devices one may not use for a while or infrequently or as backup batteries, where one needs a stable charge.

Probably the best rechargeable AAA in the world posted on 2008-02-03
I've been using a few pairs of AA Hybrio batteries and have been very pleased with their performance (see my review). So when time came to get some new AAA batteries I opted for these.

Compared to regular Ni-MH rechargeables they will hold a charge for longer, so if you use them on and off for say, a few weeks, you'll get more time out of these. If you tend to use up your batteries quickly, then there will be little difference between regular rechargeables.

However, these are 1000mAh, which I think is as high as AAA rechargeables go, so they have the longevity advantage over regular Ni-MH, meaning you've nothing to lose and something to gain by choosing these as your rechargeables.

I've charged them in trickle chargers and fast chargers and they seem happy enough with either.

Watch for the initial charge posted on 2008-01-03
Be warned, although the long shelf life idea is ideal (and beats all the other batteries I invested in that discharge before I use them) the instant charge is a bit hit and miss - I have bought several of these brand and had no real initial charge, though they are fine after.

My advice always charge even when new.
