Thanks to its automatic face recognition and scene modes, you''ll be able to take perfect shots in a snap! It has a 10-megapixel sensor with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, a BIONZ processor and an optical image stabiliser, guaranteeing faster response times and sharp pictures that are bursting with colour! It also has a high sensitivity that goes up to 3200 ISO and a D-Range optimiser, which adapts to different lighting conditions to automatically adjust exposure and contrast levels. I bought this camera,it has many problems.
1.You cant charge battery inside the camera,every charge you have to take out of camera to charge in the charger,and put it back again in the camera.
2.It does not charge from usb cable via pc,where as most cameras charge battery via usb too.
3.Its USB cable is typical n expensive
4.Its memeory card is also not compatible with any printer or pc sockets.
5.Lense result also average and moody
6.If you lost very bulky and expensive charger no other way to charge the battery
7.New cameras in this price must have 3" LCD,it has only 2.7
8.You cant use SD card in this camera and have to buy expensive special memory card,not supplied with camera.

This is a super camera. Easy to use, lovely bright images on the large screen, excellent output for prints or just to enjoy viewing on TV or PC. Many facilities that I have yet to explore. Just set it to 'Auto' and let it do the work for you. Negative features? There aren't any. Sony high quality, solid build and delivered by Amazon with their usual efficiency. This camera highly recommended.

Been playing with this all evening, and the amount of features it's got for such a small compact is simply stunnning. The zoom is great (5x), and the quality of the pictures all impress.

I upgraded from a DSC-W100, and find it a huge leap forward. Highly recommended.
